What A Very Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone! We had such a great Christmas here at home, just me, Justin and Ryan! We got snowed in this year, but it was nice to just be with our little family for a day. Ryan loved opening presents this year, and we had a blast watching him. We got him a spongebob stuffed animal and when he went to open it, he just stood there and looked at me and Justin and asked, where's Patrick!?? We both just burst out laughing! The next present he opened was, of course, a patrick stuffed animal. He brings so much joy to our life, we are so blessed to have him with us!! We got to play in the snow and build a snow man. Ryan can not pronounce the "s" sound yet, so he just calls it "no" instead of snow. We are doing really great, and hope everyone else is. Dennis and Sandra were able to stop by on their way to Colorado, and they are so much fun! I would love it if we could all live closer!! Anyway, hope to hear from everyone soon! Merry Chrismas and a Happy New Year!

Love,
Rhonda, Justin, and Ryan

What is making me itch????

Seriously, this about drove me nuts! A few months ago I started itching, like everywhere and could not figure out what it was!! My back, my legs, my hair ugh!! everything!! I even thought I had a yeast infection....I finally figured it out...ERA laundry detergent!! I was talking to my babysitter and she suggested I change detergents to see if I saw any change and waalaa!!!! Seriously, I thought dry skin, sensitive skin...something....I never thought I could be allergic to laundry soap! Anyway, yes I changed from ERA to All Free & Clear which does not have any dyes or allergens and life is just peachy!! It is so weird actually being able to sit still for awhile and not feel the urge to scratch!! Oh the oblivion!!! Haha, just thought I would share!! Later!

Hello Everyone! I get to reading everyone else's blogs and suddenly I am in the mood to write in my own! Well, everything is going pretty good for us in little ol' Missouri and Ryan is just growing up so fast! He is also learning how to talk back to mommy and daddy now in his own little way....very frustrating but enlightening.......I am still in awe the transition one goes through from child to parent and how your perception of everything completely changes. Sarah, if you are reading this, I absolutely get it now!! Anyway, children are amazing! Ryan comes up and talks to me and goes on and on about something or other and I just cant help but laugh because I have no idea what he is saying, yet he is so expressive and adamant about what he is saying! His enthusiasm for life is so invigorating, I really do not know how I could live without him! Justin, on the other hand is a bit dull, just kidding!! I love him so much, and besides he is the reason I have Ryan!! Anyway, so we went on vacation to New Mexico which was so fun and Ryan became buddies with Grampa and Denise! When Grampa wasnt around he was always with Denise, and when she wasnt around he always wanted to know what Grampa was doing!! So adorable!! We got to do alot down in Alamo, but Denise has most of our pictures, so I am waiting for those to post! Well, I hope everyone is doing well! Adios for now!!!

The Wonderful Twos...

Ya know, I bet if we change the idea of what two year olds act like, they wont be so difficult, you think? Haha, yes, I know wishful thinking. Ryan is two and Friday was last day of work until September, which is cool..I get the whole summer off!! I hope to go see Dad while I have time and then up to New York to see Angela and everyone else! I dont know what will happen, but I am hopin!! Anyway, not too much else going on, just watching Ryan grow! He is so funny, every time I get on the computer and yells BABY!! becuase he wants to see pictures of himself! I guess he thinks it is a picture of another baby and not himself!! HAha! He is adorable though!! Anyway, toodles for now!

The Andersons Ride Again...

I have no idea what that means, but I was inspired by Christinas blog to start writing more to relieve ourselves of thoughts I suppose. I am so thankful for such a great husband and son who fill my life with so much joy. Ryan is getting closer to the age of two and becoming such an adventurer. He is so fearless and so full of life and energy, reminding me of my younger days. (aka, crawling along the floor with our heads rubbing the carpet, or doing headstands against the wall in the hallway underneath the air conditioner and then laughing our heads off until the wee hours of the night). I think all of us should get together and compose a book of the funniest, silliest, and craziest memories from our childhood and make a copy for everyone.Whenever I am in need of a laugh, I usually call up one of the sisters and reminese on our childhood, but if we put a book together, that would be so fun! Isn't is so interesting to watch our children grow up and discover things that you did as a child? I think back of my child hood experiences and how different I look at them from a parenting perspective vs. a childs perspective. I can not wait to have more children, and I just laugh reading about Christina's children and all the funny things they do! I know Ryan will make a great big brother one day!! Justin and I have discussed numerous times about having another baby, but we never seem to follow through!! Oh, well I know we will figure it out or just say to heck with it and have have barn load like the Duggars...or us!! Well, one last thing I want to say is that I really appreciate Mom and Dad for everything they have done for me. Dad is so inspiring to me and I love every conversation we have together, and only wish that we could get more out of him before its too late! So, Dad if you read this, I want you to know I love ya and miss you and that are truly the best example of the kind of person I want to be.
